St James' Anglican Church on Riccarton Road, which has been closed for six years because of earthquake damage, are now looking for a new property in Central Riccarton to provide outreach for the community.

The church recently merged with St Martin's Anglican Church in Lincoln Road, and the two share the same vicar, Rev'd John de Senna.

An evening service is still held in St James' Thompson Lounge on Sundays and there is also a playgroup. Ideas of what the community would like from the church are being sought, and can be sent to
