The four Westfield Malls around New Zealand are offering a $10,000 prize for a Local Hero.

Sixteen people were nominated for the Riccarton area, out of which six finalists have been named.

 The Riccarton finalists are:

Matthew Button - Big Brothers Big Sisters
Chartlotte Ellis - Royal New Zealand Plunket Trust
Charlotte Pawson - ParaFed Canterbury
Bob Shearing - Enrich Communtiy Chaplaincy Trust
Robyn Twemlow - Tourettes Association New Zealand (TANZ)
