Richard K Lee has been elected as the new Chairperson of the Riccarton Neighbourhood Support Group (RNSG).
Here he introduces himself, and the aims of the Support Group.
"Kia Ora. My family moved into the Riccarton area from Wellington in 200 and have settled in the neighbourhood since. Originally from Kuching, the Borneo side of Malaysia, I first set foot in Wellington in 1978 to pursue my tertiary education at Victoria University. I continued with my post-graduate studies at Massey University in Palmerston North.
"After graduating with a post-graduate business qualification, I have worked in various industries, including merchant banking, finance, retail and distribution, workplace training and education management in New Zealand and overseas.
"I now lecture in the marketing and brand management subject areas at a private tertiary institution. For leisure, I enjoy swimming and reading.
"I am the inaugural Chairperson of your Riccarton Neighbourbood Support Group. The purpose of the RNSG is to develop and environment of support and safety for people living in the Riccarton area.

We have our Neighbourhood Group meetings every first Wednesday of the month, and we look forward to seeing you all. We need your input and suggestions to make things happen in our neighbourhood."
