As part of the university’s “Strengthening Communities through Social Innovation” course, teams of students this year have designed and implemented social improvement ideas. The latest has been to construct a mini-library at the Clarence Reserve (opposite Westfield carpark).
A team of 20 set to in October to instal and paint two boxes that are now a free library. Anyone is welcome to borrow a book, or donate a book.
Three local people will act as guardians.
