ROAR – Riccarton On A Roll – is a community expo being planned for the 22nd September, to showcase Riccarton activities and the wider Riccarton community.
The event – to be held at the new Rārākau: Riccarton Centre in Clarence St – is being planned by the City Council’s Community Development Workers, and is an opportunity for you to promote your organisation, showcase your activities and at the same time network with other groups in the community.
The Christchurch City Council says all facilities will remain open during the return to Alert Level 2 announced by the government.

"Summer with your neighbours" (formerly known as Neighbourhood Week) is about bringing people closer together, and celebrating the diverse mix of each neighbourhood.
Riccarton’s NZ Post branch in Riccarton Rd will close tomorrow (Tuesday, 28 July).
Postal, courier and bill payment services have been transferred to the city council’s Riccarton Service Centre at 103 Riccarton Road. The Post Office Boxes will stay at their current location and will continue to be managed by NZ Post.
The KiwiBank branch will stay open in its current location.
